Outstanding Daugavpils artist, Silva Veronika Linarte, passes away

It is sad to realise that no new conversations are forthcoming, that no new ideas will be brought to fruition.

We grieve over the loss of the brilliant, inspiring, ever elegant and talented artist and art educator Silva Veronika Linarte /1939-2018/.

On behalf of the entire team of Daugavpils Mark Rothko Art Centre, we send our deepest condolences to the artist’s family.
