Open Call for two symposiums and a plein air by the Rothko Centre
The Daugavpils Mark Rothko Art Centre announces an Open Call for artist applications to participate in two painting symposiums and a plein air held within its residency programme 2022.
To commemorate the uniqueness of the artist Silva Linarte’s creative legacy and promote international interest in Daugavpils as an artistically stimulating city, the Rothko Centre will host the Silva Linarte 2022 International Painting Symposium.

To promote the creative legacy of the artist Valdis Bušs and raise the public profile of Viļaka as his hometown developing into a fully-fledged site for plein airs and artist residencies, the Rothko Centre will organise the Valdis Bušs 2022 International Painting Plein Air.
