Workshop with Peter Griffin

Daugavpils Mark Rothko Art Center (DMRAC) promotes a unique opportunity for artists to participate in workshop with Peter Griffin (UK) in between of April 25 and April 27.

The artist points out that the workshop will base on the relationship between visual image and the world in all its different  forms.

The exhibition of Peter Griffin’s works “Sealed with Fire”, which the author has presented to DMRAC, includes a series of 12 silk screen printings supplemented by Pablo Neruda’s verse. This series was created in 1997 as a dedication to the 25th anniversary of the poet’s death, and it has been shown in the UK, Argentine, Chile, and many other places.

The workshop will be held in English language. All participants are welcome to bring all materials they are usually working with. The workshop hours for April 25-26^th: 16.00-20.00, for April 27^th: 10.00-16.00. Location: DMRAC 2^nd floor. Workshop cost: one time payment of 10 LVL.
