At 4 p.m. on Friday, 29 September, the Daugavpils Mark Rothko Art Centre, soon-to-be Rothko Museum, will unveil No. 2 [Untitled] – a new exhibition of selected artworks from its collection displayed in the gallery space leading up to Mark Rothko’s originals.  

To turn the spotlight on contemporary ceramics in Latvia and internationally, the Daugavpils Mark Rothko Art Centre once again joins forces with the Latvian Centre for Contemporary Ceramics to put together the 4th Latvia Ceramics Biennale with an exciting programme set to take over Rīga, Daugavpils and even Aveiro, Portugal.

At 4 p.m. on Friday, 9 June, at the Daugavpils Mark Rothko Art Centre, the prominent British art historian, critic and abstract expressionism researcher David Anfam will give a guided tour of the exhibition “Stefan Gierowski: From Here to Eternity”.
