To celebrate the approaching 115th birthday of the world-renowned Daugavpils-born artist Mark Rothko, an exhibition of museum quality reproductions of Mark Rothko’s paintings and digital content from the collection of Daugavpils Mark Rothko Art Centre will be opened at 4 p.m. on Friday, 18 May in Zarasai Regional Museum (Lithuania).

Ian Maksin, a world-renowned American cellist, composer and vocalist of Russian descent, will give a free concert in Daugavpils, performing at 6 p.m. on Friday, 9 March 2018 at the concert hall of Daugavpils Mark Rothko Art Centre.

This year’s first exhibition season with seven new exhibitions will be launched at Daugavpils Mark Rothko Art Centre the Friday, 2 February, at 4 p.m.
