The Rothko Centre shortens its opening hours for visitors
From 22 November 2022 to 20 April 2023, the Daugavpils Mark Rothko Art Centre will shorten its opening hours for visitors.
With the active tourism season already over, Latvia entering its annual period of dark winter months and energy prices consistently on the rise, the Rothko Centre shortens its opening hours for visitors.
As before, on Fridays and Saturdays, the Rothko Centre will keep receiving visitors from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and remain closed on Sundays. Meanwhile, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, the centre will welcome its visitors from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Requests from tourist groups to access the centre at other times will be considered individually.
The Daugavpils Mark Rothko Art Centre expects to return to its regular opening hours in spring, at the end of the specified period.
