Daugavpils Mark Rothko Art Centre has received the unique donation – one of the Grolier Story of America card dedicated to Mark Rothko. Grolier Story of America cards were released from 1994 to 2001. This was a subscription card set, which meant you had to remit payment to the company each month to continue your collection. The cards were never available as a retail set, only as a subscription during their original print run. This card is 100% original – not a reprint – part of a set of over 2,000 cards covering just about every subject in U.S. History.
The second donation was received from Israel collectors club. It is a set of post stamps dedicated to Mark Rothko from collection “100 famous Jews”
