Ceramicists from Israel, India, South Korea and other countries gather in Daugavpils for the international CERAMIC LABORATORY symposium, which starts today with an inaugural exhibition.

At 4 p.m. on Friday, 9 June, at the Daugavpils Mark Rothko Art Centre, the prominent British art historian, critic and abstract expressionism researcher David Anfam will give a guided tour of the exhibition “Stefan Gierowski: From Here to Eternity”.

At 4 p.m. on Friday, 2 June, the Daugavpils Mark Rothko Art Centre will open its summer exhibition season, featuring a legendary Latvian art group and other impressive projects from Britain, Poland and Ukraine.

On 22 April at 6 p.m. at the 4METRES Gallery in the courtyard of the Contemporary Ceramics Center of Latvia will open an exhibition “ÉTUDES” by artist Sanita Ābelīte.

From 22 to 28 April, the Daugavpils Mark Rothko Art Centre will celebrate its tenth anniversary with concerts, exhibitions and a new display of original paintings by the world-renowned artist Mark Rothko.

At 4 p.m. on Friday, 24 March, the Daugavpils Mark Rothko Art Centre will close the 11th International Latgale Graphic Art Symposium with an exhibition opening and celebrate its participants.

The 11th International Latgale Graphic Art Symposium will start at 3 p.m. on 11 March 2023 at the exhibition hall of the Daugavpils Culture Palace with a formal welcoming of its participants and the opening of an exhibition by the locally born graphic artist Vitolds Svirskis.

At 4 p.m. on Friday, 3 March, the Daugavpils Mark Rothko Art Centre will open its spring exhibition season, featuring works by the world-renowned native of Daugavpils, Jacques Chapiro, alongside five other impressive projects.
