Residency programme
The Rothko Museum invites artists to apply for a individual residency programme that provides an inspiring and comfortable setting for creative work. The residency offer includes accommodation in one of the ten double rooms (suitable for one or two people) located on the museum premises, along with access to a studio space, where the resident artist can work undisturbed on their project.
How long?
A residency typically lasts 2 weeks; however, the duration can be extended or shortened by mutual agreement between the artist and the museum.
How much?
The resident artist covers the accommodation cost (27 EUR per night). The studio space is provided free of charge.
How to apply?
The artist completes an application form. The museum reviews the application and contacts the artist to discuss the details. If both parties agree on the terms, a cooperation agreement is signed with the artist.
