The Daugavpils Mark Rothko Art Centre library has about 1 500 volumes in the fields of art, including ceramic and graphic arts, photography, art history, design, architecture and allied disciplines on 4 different languages: Latvian, English, Russian and German. Special emphasis is set on Mark Rothko’s biography and art.

Visitors will have an opportunity to use the library’s art catalogues and other materials in order to get more information about the participants of annual international art symposiums, organized by Art Centre, as well as get a full information about Daugavpils Mark Rothko Art Centre’s events.

Library collection is based on the project basis („Latvia-Lithuania Cross Border Cooperation programme, 2007-2013”), as well as individual or institutional donations. We are kindly supported by “Globuss”, “Jānis Roze” bookshop networks and “Neputns”, “Taschen” and “Thames&Hudson” publishing houses.
