14th International Latgale Graphic Art Symposium | Exhibition Opening

Join us for the final highlight of the Rothko Museum’s international printmaking symposium on 7 March 2026, 4 PM.

For two weeks, ten artists from Italy, Canada, Poland, Ukraine, India, Lithuania and Latvia have been working in the Rothko Museum’s printmaking studios, creating new works for the museum collection and the symposium exhibition.

On 7 March, 4 PM, the Rothko Museum invites you to the opening of the exhibition that brings these works together for the first time. The display reflects the diversity of contemporary printmaking across cultures while capturing the shared spirit of exploration and creative exchange that defines the symposium format. Following the exhibition, the works will enter the Rothko Museum Collection, becoming a lasting testament to this moment of encounter.

Featuring Alessandro Cugno and Eros Bitto (Italy), John Graham (Canada), Kamila Bednarska and Katarzyna Tereszkiewic (Poland), Kateryna Svirgunenko and Valentyna Ariepieva (Ukraine), Kethavath Vijay (India), Nida Shah (Lithuania), and Ināra Garklāva (Latvia).

Admission is free of charge.

The event is supported by the Daugavpils City Council and Latvia’s Culture Capital Foundation.
